When I was growing up, my father had an extensive library. He traveled away from home often and I think he read about one book a day. It was his way of relaxing. I used to notice that he often lived in the books with his imagination. A management consultant with an imagination!
I loved all the books he had on his bookshelves. I grew up reading everything from westerns, Edger Rice Burroughs, and the classics. As I grew, I read more modern stories, but my favorite author (and still is) was a historical fiction writer by the name of Thomas Costain. I have most of his books and feel saddened that he is no longer living.
It is my hope that you or your children will enjoy the books I write as much as I enjoyed the books I grew up with so many years ago.
